pathan box office collection day 1: Tomorrow i.e. on Wednesday, Bollywood’s King Khan Shah Rukh Khan’s film Pathan has been released in theatres, we are going to tell you the first day box office collection of Pathaan movie.
Shah Rukh Khan Pathan Box office Collection: Superstar Shah Rukh Khan’s most awaited film Pathan has been released in all theatres, talks were going on to boycott the film even before its release, but Boycott had no effect on the film. However, the film made a huge pathan box office collection day 1 itself, trade analyst Tarun Adarsh tweeted on Twitter.
Deepika Padukone and John Abraham in the lead roles with Shahrukh Khan in Pathan, directed by Siddharth Anand, Shahrukh Khan is making his comeback after 5 years from Pathan, and Shahrukh Khan’s comeback after 5 years is a successful film. Has broken the record of all films by collecting 55 crores on the first day.
‘Pathan’ will take full advantage of the 26th January holiday and it is being speculated that the film will earn tremendously at the box office on the second day as well.
The big-budget comeback of Shah Rukh Khan took the top spot at the box office on its opening day. Pathaan will comfortably enter the Rs 100 crore club today because it is a holiday for Republic Day.
In the midst of a fan frenzy unlike anything seen in the Hindi film industry in a very long time, Shah Rukh Khan’s Pathaan’s opening day box office performance was better than expected, and that too without the help of traditional marketing materials. As reported by Komal Nahta, the Hindi version of the film made Rs 55 crore on day one, while the dubbed Tamil and Telugu versions brought in Rs 2 crore each.
If the film had been released today, on Republic Day, the number would have been higher, according to Box Office India. The Hindi dub version of the Kannada film KGF: Chapter 2 (Rs 53.9 crore) and Hrithik Roshan’s War (Rs 53.3 crore) now stand as the top Hindi debuts, overtaking Aamir Khan’s Thugs of Hindostan and the Hindi-dubbed version of War. Its Rs 57 crore debut is also higher than Avengers: Endgame’s Rs 53 crore debut in India on its opening day.
During Republic Day, Pathaan is expected to generate more than Rs 100 crore at the box office. Bringing Shah Rukh Khan to the top of the chart of the highest earners will be unprecedented in Hindi cinema. Over Rs 100 crore have already been earned by the film worldwide. In the post-pandemic era, Pathaan has already played to the highest opening day figures of Shah Rukh’s career, surpassing Happy New Year (Rs 44 crore).
A high-octane action-spy film that also stars Deepika Padukone and John Abraham, Pathaan marks SRK’s return to starring roles after four years and his first action film.
YRF has set up a new shared universe that includes Salman Khan’s Tiger character, which appears in a lengthy cameo. Among the films in the franchise is War, directed by Siddharth Anand, who also directed Pathaan.
After over a decade of underperformance at the box office, Anand has directed two of the top three day-one grossers in Hindi movie history, and SRK has reestablished himself as Bollywood’s biggest star. As of 2023, he has two more films lined up – Jawan and Dunki – after 2018’s critical and commercial flop Zero.
